Call to the population to document the history of the city from 1880 to 1980

The City of Saint-Eustache is organizing a collection of photographs, correspondence and testimonies of all kinds related to Saint-Eustache of the 1880s to 1980. To do this, citizens are cordially invited to share images or writings taken from their family albums or their personal collection. These will make it possible to document the daily life of the Eustachians of the last century with a view to producing publications on the history and development of the city.

Whoever is interested has until March 31, 2021 to contact Sandrine Contant-Joannin, project manager, by phone at 450 974-5001 ext. 5059 or by email at expositionmoulin@saint-eustache.ca to make an appointment so that these special memories can be scanned and archived. These meetings will be made in accordance with the sanitary measures in force. A time slot will be set for the deposit of photographs and documents, and another for the recovery of these. A home souvenir collection and return service is also available for those who prefer not to travel. Of course, it is also possible to send the memories directly by email if they are already scanned.

The team behind this historic project is very excited to discover all your different memory lane documents!

This project is made possible thanks to financial support from the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec and the Ministère du Patrimoine canadien.
