Our place in your community By Eleanor Tylbor It’s our intention at The North Shore News to become the newspaper readers’ look to when they want to know what’s happening in their communities. We’ll be covering meetings at City Hall and the fine points of municipal politics, in addition to reporting on the regional provincial and federal scenes. We provide readers with regular updates of activities and meetings planned by local non-profit groups, clubs and associations, and tell everyone about those important and fun church bazaars we all love to attend (especially if there’s food served…) . We include notices opening art exhibitions, flower shows, book reviews, elementary and high school happenings…a cornucopia of options to suit all tastes. We’re also interested in hearing about special hobbies…gardening tips…funny things kids say (and they can always be counted on to say the unexpected) and all about interesting residents living in the two communities … We wanna hear and readers want to read.
