Since last year’s show was so successful, numerous artists will once again be solicited to shake up the stage at the Grand Théâtre Olympia when the Jeudi show is presented next May 28th, at 7 pm. Mr. Martin Hensen and Mr. Denis Naud will be acting as patrons for the 2009 Edition. Many local artists from all fields will show their expertise to execute an act, song or musical piece.
The Organizing Committee for the Jeudi show is presently calling upon local artists to submit their candidacy and take part in this event’s 2009 Edition. Do you have a special talent for music, singing, dance, humour, magic or acrobatics? Do you belong to a band? To submit your candidacy, complete the application form available at www.ville.deux-montagnes.qc.ca or at Community Center (200, Henri-Dunant Street, 450 473-4700) and return it no later than Wednesday April 15. In the next days, you will be invited to an audition. Once completed, selected artists will be invited to perform on stage at the Grand Théâtre Olympia, as guests on the Jeudi Show.
Remember that the Jeudi show is a local talent variety show, organized for the benefit of AGAPÉ Deux-Montagnes, an ecumenical organization whose mission is to help those in need. Tickets, at a cost of $12, will soon be on sale at the Olympia, the Community Centre, the Public Library, and in selected Deux-Montagnes stores. Be there!
