A local guide for better recycling

In celebration of Earth Day’s 40th anniversary, the City of Deux-Montagnes is announcing the upcoming publication of a local recycling directory.  As part of the city’s ‘Greening Campaign’ program, this recycling guide will be distributed during the city’s horticultural days on May 29 and 30th to all citizens who ask for the guide.

Co-written by the members of the Commission for the Environment and the City of Deux-Montagnes and financed by Entreprise Sanitaire F.A., this document has put together recycling points available in the c lose area for disposing of a multitude of objects which are not collected through regular separate collection: compact fluorescent lamps and neon lamps, propane tanks, scrap cars, CD’s, wheel-chairs, etc.  All citizens must communicate with the various organizations, industries and institutions inventoried to ask for further information.  The content of this guide will be ongoing and people or businesses interested in adding information or addresses to this guide can do so by sending their information to communications@ville.deux‐montagnes.qc.ca or by phone at 450-473-2796.

This document will be available at the various municipal services during the two horticultural days and in digital format on the City of Deux-Montagnes website at:  www.ville.deux-montagnes.qc.ca.
