The 2009 Jeudi show
On May 28 Discover great new talent!
(NSN)

In light of the success this show had last year, the Jeudi show will once again shake up the stage at the Grand Théâtre Olympia, next May 28 as of 7 pm. The Jeudi show is produced for the benefit of AGAPÉ Deux-Montagnes, an ecumenical organization whose mission is to provide assistance to those in need throughout the region. Funds raised will help finance the organization’s activities and support the association’s vital work and dedication towards improving the lives of those who are less fortunate.

The rigorous auditioning process allows us to select the very best artists among the upcoming local talent and ensures programming to satisfy every taste. The selected artists will have the opportunity to perform on stage at the Grand Théâtre Olympia, the largest entertainment hall in the Lower Laurentians.  This year, no less than 15 artists will have a chance to show their talent and know-how in front of an audience of over 500 people. “The quality of the performances presented last year has shown us that Deux-Montagnes is filled with talent just waiting to be discovered! We should encourage them!” commented Marc Lauzon, Mayor of Deux-Montagnes. “By attending the Jeudi show, you can support a local charitable organization, enjoy an excellent show and discover local talent and future performing artists,” he added. The 2009 Edition can count on the participation of the musical band Run4Cover to animate the show. This young band from the music program at Cégep Lionel-Groulx promises to be a feast for the ears.

This year’s program features the exceptional talent of Audrey Veilleux, Andréanne Dubé, Caroline Mailhot, Catherine Pigeon, Chantal Therrien, Gerry Johnson, Judy Bérubé, Karine Paris, Mathieu Chevalier, Sabrina Côté-Maldonado, Vanessa Piunno, Véronique Monette, Yves Deschênes, the La Clik Dance Troupand Moran Academy of Irish Dancers. The 2009 Edition will be produced under the honorary presidency of Messrs. Martin Hensen and Denis Naud. An incredible show in store for all!

The re-edition of this performing arts show would not be possible without the precious financial support and great collaboration of our partners: The Caisse Desjardins Saint-Eustache/Deux-Montagnes; the Dufresne Hébert Comeau law firm; Cusson et Létourneau; the engineering firm, BSA Groupe conseil; the Société d’analyse immobilière DM and the law firm Cadrin Mayer.
