The City of Deux-Montagnes held a Recognition
Ceremony to pay special tribute to
those members who have dedicated twentyfive
(25) years of service to the municipality
for their precious collaboration.
“A municipal service is operational and effective
when it can count on the dedication
and involvement of its employees. In Deux-
Montagnes, we are truly privileged as we can
rely on experienced quality employees whose
first priority is the population’s well-being”,
commented Mr. Lauzon, Mayor of Deux-
Montagnes. “As Mayor, but as a citizen as
well, I want to thank them for their faithful
involvement in our community”, he added.
“You are like the “Inukshuk”, a point of reference,
a guide, a reassuring presence. You
are a source of knowledge, information and
recollections. You are the pillars of the work
team and a source of reference for our colleagues”,
specified Mr. Bouchard, General
Manager.
Each of our honoured employees was offered
a gift in recognition by the City – an
art piece, designed by Paola Corbo, Deux-
Montagnes artist with a wonderful talent for
transforming glass into beautiful artwork.
All of the City of Deux-Montagnes Service
Departments, as well as our City Councillors,
would like to congratulate and thank
them for the work they have accomplished
over the years.
